We use first-party analytics to understand how people discover our stories and toys. During testing, analytics may start without an opt-in prompt. You can turn it off in this browser using the preference button below.

What we measure

When analytics is enabled for your browser, we record pages visited, approximate active time and scroll depth, referral website and campaign labels, approximate country, browser, operating system, device category, screen size, language and browser time zone. We also count interactions such as toy spins, shop links, book links and game links.

A random browser reference helps distinguish new and returning visits. It is stored on your device for up to a year; a session reference resets after 30 minutes of inactivity. Our server stores hashed references, not names or account identities. A browser reference is not a way to know who you are.

What stays out of analytics

We do not record form entries, passwords, keystrokes, precise GPS location or session replay. Full page queries and fragments are excluded; only campaign labels are retained. Please do not put personal information in campaign labels. IP addresses are used briefly on our server for country estimates and abuse prevention; raw IP addresses are not saved in our analytics records or sent to a location service. Hosting security logs are separate from this analytics system.

Country estimates use a local database dated November 2020 and can be inaccurate, particularly for VPNs and newer networks. Browser time zone is a setting, not proof of location.

Who can access it

The Joy Story’s password-protected administration area is managed by Mysa Jaipur. Analytics records are held on our own server for up to 400 days, with daily cleanup when the system receives traffic. We do not sell analytics data or send it to an advertising platform.

Your choice

When the opt-in prompt is enabled, analytics waits for your permission. When the prompt is disabled during testing, analytics starts unless you previously opted out or your browser sends a privacy signal. Your preference is saved in this browser. “No thanks” stops analytics and removes the local visitor and session references. It does not erase previously collected records. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals also disable analytics. Blocking storage or using another browser may mean you are asked again.

Shopping and play elsewhere

The Mysa shop and Mishi’s Jungle Adventure are separate websites. Here we count link clicks only; we do not receive their purchases, payments or game activity.
